I am eight months old now and I am doing LOTS of new things. I am trying so hard to crawl but so far have only been able to go backwards. I love to stand up holding on to something and it won't be long until I am into everything! My daddy just recently celebrated his first Father's Day and he is so proud of himself for teaching me to say "dada". I say it nonstop! I also just went to the zoo for the first time and I loved it! I really enjoyed looking at all the animals, especially the fish in the aquariums. My new favorite thing to do is play in my baby pool. It is a big elephant and is perfect for hot days! I went to the doctor a week ago and I now weigh 17 1/2 pounds. He said he doesn't think I have any teeth coming in, but I still chew on EVERYTHING. I am still eating baby food but have tried a few finger foods. I am NOT a big fan of them but I could probably eat a whole container of puffs. They are my favorite!
